The half height gate can be used with our access ladder system by bolting to the exit stringers. It can also be secured to 42.4/48.3mm tubular key clamp uprights using the U bolts supplied with the kit. It can be utilised as a safety gate for other purposes too.
The full height gate can be secured to 42.4/48.3mm tubular key clamp uprights using the U bolts supplied with the kit. It can be utilised as a safety gate for other purposes too. Due to the weight of this gate, we do not recommend mounting to ladder exit stringers as it may make them flex/sag.
Gates are self-closing. Gates function through 180 degrees. Tensioning spring in either a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction to swing gate, either way, it can be hung left or right-handed.
Gate frame may be easily cut down to suit the required opening. Supplied in kit form ready for quick assembly. Slam plate upright will require cutting down for the half height gates as it is supplied with 2 slam lugs welded to the upright. Simply cut down the upright to leave 1 lug present depending on which way your gate is opening/closing. You want the gate to sit in line with existing handrail once closed, so choose which slam lug remains based on this.
